Description
NGOs are heavily dependent on projects. Most of these projects are short term, while social change is a long-term process. Often the target community is left in a lurch when the project ends. We wish to continue with the activities but find ourselves helpless as we do not have funds. Additionally, the staff associated with these projects also faces uncertainty. As a result, we are not able to attract and retain the brightest of the staff.
Apart from the above, there are many organisational expenses, which are not met by the projects. Some of these include building upkeep and expansion, public image building, emergency help to community members, etc.
We feel that these expenses can be met only with a sufficient corpus, which we seek to build at the earliest. We plan to invest the corpus and use the investment proceeds to fund such expenses. We earnestly request you to donate to corpus fund generously.
